Follow these steps to open a mySongBook score in Guitar Pro 8.
Opening scores with your mySongBook subscription
Access to mySongBook titles requires a subscription.
Open Guitar Pro 8 and select the mySongBook entry.
Click Sign In to mySongBook as shown below:
If needed, go to the menu File / Guitar Pro 8 > Preferences > Interface and select Show mySongBook.
Enter your email address and password.
These are the same login details as your Guitar Pro account.
Once logged in, double-click the title you want to open in Guitar Pro 8.
Using mySongBook credits and managing purchases
Titles previously purchased individually via the old credit system remain accessible in Guitar Pro 8, even without an active subscription.
These titles display a small check mark ☑️ to the right of the list.
You can also display only your purchases by selecting My Purchases in the available categories.
Your available credits can be used until your balance is exhausted.
To use a credit, select the title, click the ➕ icon, and choose "Buy for 1 credit".
Once your balance is empty, you will no longer be able to purchase titles using credits.
Managing favorites
You can manage your mySongBook favorites directly from Guitar Pro 8.
Simply check or uncheck the little yellow star to the left of the title.
You can also display only your favorites by selecting My Favorites in the available categories.
