Guitar Pro 6 lets you make up to 4 effect variations per instrument track. This way you can avoid having to create two guitar tracks if, for example, you want to change from an acoustic guitar to an electric guitar.
Each effect variation can be saved as user settings. You can then find and assign your sound settings to all your scores/tabs. Note that it is also possible to select effects from the list of presets provided in the software.
